The art exhibition “ANAVASIS” by international artist Nakis Panayotidis concluded with impressive success. Hosted at the Hamidie Mosque within the Castle of Chios, the exhibition was a centerpiece of THE CHIOS FESTIVAL 2025.
Running throughout September and October, the exhibition drew more than 2,300 visitors, including locals, tourists, and prominent figures from Greece and abroad. The steady flow of attendees and the intense interest generated by the artist’s work confirmed its success and its significant standing among the cultural events of this year’s festival.
”ANAVASIS” featured a series of works that, utilizing the materials of arte povera, explored the concepts of spiritual ascent and inner freedom, evoking deep reflection and aesthetic emotion in its audience.
The exhibition was held under the auspices of the Italian and Swiss Embassies in Athens, in collaboration with the Tornabuoni Arte gallery, serving as a prime example of high artistic quality and international cooperation.
