Γεννήθηκε το 1960 στην Αθήνα και η κλίση της προς το θέατρο είχε φανεί από μικρή ηλικία.
Αποφοίτησε της δραματικής σχολής του εθνικού θεάτρου και συνέχισε τις σπουδές της στην Νέα Υόρκη, ενώ παρέλαβε και το πτυχίο της από την φιλοσοφική σχολή του πανεπιστημίου της Αθήνας.
Έχει παίξει σε αρκετά σήριαλ στην τηλεόραση αλλά και σε ταινίες και θεατρικά έργα.
Υπήρξε Πρωθιέρεια το 1984 για τους Ολυμπιακούς Αγώνες του Λος Άντζελες, τότε που δεν έγινε καμιά τελετή σε ένδειξη διαμαρτυρίας από τους Έλληνες για την εμπορευματοποίηση της ιερής φλόγας και το 1988 για την διοργάνωση της Σεούλ.
Από το 1990 εργάζεται ως ηθοποιός. Έχει συμμετάσχει σε πολλές παραστάσεις στην Αμερική και την Ελλάδα.

Katerina Didaskalou is a Greek actress of film, theater, and television. She studied at the National Theatre of Greece Drama School, graduating with distinction, and later continued her training in New York with a scholarship from the Onassis Foundation, attending Columbia University and the HB Studio under Uta Hagen. She made her television debut in the early 1990s and soon appeared in films, including Two Suns in the Sky (1991). On stage, she has starred in a wide repertoire, with one of her most acclaimed performances being the solo play I Porni apo Pano by Antonis Tsipianitis, which established her as a leading presence in contemporary Greek theater. In addition to her acting career, Didaskalou served as High Priestess in the Olympic Flame lighting ceremonies for the 1984 Los Angeles and 1988 Seoul Olympic Games, a role that underscored her cultural prominence in Greece.
