Alexandra Touroutoglou, MSc, PhD, a distinguished neuroscientist and Associate
Professor of Neurology at Harvard Medical School, who serves as the Director of Imaging Operations for the Frontotemporal Disorders Unit at Massachusetts General Hospital and a full member of the Federal Advisory Scientific Committee at the USA Department of Veterans Affairs. She is globally recognized for her innovative clinical trials and pioneering new therapeutic approaches for Alzheimer’s disease. In 2016, she discovered a remarkable group of older adults known as Superagers whose brains refuse to age. She has received numerous honors and awards, and her findings have been featured around the world, including the BBC and The New York Times. She has also been invited to present her research at the United Nations.
